The Process Pledge

This blog is just a baby, but I plan on posting lots of tutorials and discussions about all my future quilting endeavors.   rOssie, a great quilting blogger, challenged her colleagues to be open and honest about their processes.  I’m definitely game!:

I, Jenna, pledge to talk more about my processes, even when I can’t quite put them in the in words or be sure I’m being totally clear.   I’m going to put my thinking and my gut feelings out there.

Quilt-as-you-go Orange Peel Quilt

My wonderful mother, Sharon, taught me this pattern.    It’s a quilt-as-you-go type technique that makes an orange-peel pattern.  The resulting quilt will have a tactile, three dimensional feeling and scalloped edges.
